Corrections: report an error on VPN Clue

How to report an error

Tell us three things:

  • the page address
  • the sentence or number that is wrong
  • the official source that shows the correct value

The ideal source is a link to the provider’s page, an audit report, a law or a court document. A screenshot with a visible date also helps. Send your report through the contact page.

Reports from providers are welcome. We treat them the same way as reports from readers: a claim needs a public source we can cite. We do not change a fact on the strength of an email alone.

What happens next

  1. We check the claim against the source within 48 hours of receiving it.
  2. If the page is wrong, we correct it. If the error came from our data, we also update the provider record. Then we add a dated entry to the page’s changelog that says what changed.
  3. If the claim does not hold up, we reply with the source we relied on.
  4. If a correction changes a score or a ranking, the affected pages update automatically the next time we rebuild the site.

Corrections log

No corrections have been recorded since the site launched on 31 October 2026. We will list each correction here with the date, the page and a short description.

What counts as an error

An error is a wrong price, date, plan term, server count, feature claim, audit detail, legal status or ownership fact. Differences of opinion about a verdict are welcome too. We handle them as feedback, not as corrections, unless they rest on a fact we got wrong. We fix typos and broken links as soon as we see them, and we do not log them here.

Why we work this way

A site that tracks hundreds of changing prices and policies will make errors. That is why every number carries its verification date and source. What we can promise is that errors get fixed quickly and visibly. We also promise never to quietly edit a page to hide one.
