Price history
Price per month of the 2 Years + 4 Months plan, checked daily since 31 Oct 2026. Latest check: $2.19 on 5 Nov 2026.
There is no CyberGhost coupon code to enter. On 5 November 2026, the official buy page applied its “Early Access Deal: Save up to 83%” price automatically. The page carried no coupon code.
The deal is the 2 Years + 4 Months plan at $2.19 a month. You pay $61.32 for the first 28 months. What makes it unusual is the line under the price: the plan renews at $61.32 a year, not at a higher “regular” price. You have 45 days to ask for a refund.
Our daily check reads the table above from the buy page. This page explains what the numbers mean. It also compares the deal with the other sales running this week.
The CyberGhost deal on 5 November 2026
CyberGhost sells one VPN tier in three terms:
- The long plan costs $2.19 a month under the Early Access label. You pay $61.32 up front for 28 months.
- The 6-month plan costs $6.99 a month. It is billed at $41.94 and renews at $41.94 every six months.
- The monthly plan costs $12.99 and renews at $12.99.
The “83% off” figure compares the long plan’s monthly rate with the $12.99 monthly price. That is the standard way VPN discounts are advertised. It is not a discount against last month’s price for the same plan.
The offer changed between 2 and 4 November. Under the Halloween label, the same $2.19 a month bought 26 months for $56.94. The renewal rose with the new term, from $56.94 to $61.32 a year.
Every plan includes the same service:
- 9,600 servers in 100 countries
- seven connections at the same time
- apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, Android TV and Fire TV
- a kill switch, which blocks your internet if the VPN connection drops
- the Content Blocker
- 24/7 live chat
The extras are sold separately at checkout. A dedicated IP costs from $5 a month, and a Security Suite for Windows from $4.50 a month. A password manager and ID Guard are sold there too. The checkout also advertises a referral bonus of 30 free days.
Renewal is where this deal differs from most. CyberGhost’s buy page states that the 2-year plan “autorenews at $61.32 annually”. So the year after the first term costs $5.11 a month, which is still 61 percent below the monthly price. Compare that with the renewal jumps at NordVPN and ExpressVPN. NordVPN renews at $139.08 a year after a $94.23 first term. ExpressVPN renews at $99.95 a year after $83.72.
The refund window is also the longest we track. It is 45 days on plans of six months or longer and 14 days on the monthly plan. App-store purchases are excluded. You can pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Amazon Pay. CyberGhost’s payment-by-country article lists no cryptocurrency option for the United States.
Is it actually a good deal?
Compared with today’s rivals, it is a good deal on renewal and close to the cheapest on the headline price. These were the lowest long-plan prices we verified on 5 November 2026:
- Private Internet Access (PIA): $2.03 a month, or $81.20 for 40 months. It renews at $81.20 every three years.
- CyberGhost: $2.19 a month.
- Surfshark: $2.49 a month, or $67.23 for 27 months. Its page does not state the renewal price.
- ExpressVPN: $2.99 a month, or $83.72 for 28 months. It renews at $99.95 a year.
- NordVPN: $3.49 a month, or $94.23 for 27 months. It renews at $139.08 a year.
IPVanish matches CyberGhost’s $2.19 headline price but renews at $99.99 a year.
Buy once and renew once, and the totals pull apart:
- CyberGhost: $122.64 for 40 months
- PIA: $81.20 for 40 months
- IPVanish: $152.55 for 36 months
- ExpressVPN: $183.67 for 40 months
- NordVPN: $233.31 for 39 months
Only PIA beats CyberGhost on both the first term and the renewal. PIA is CyberGhost’s sister brand under Kape Technologies. But PIA asks you to pay for 40 months up front rather than 28.
Our price tracking for CyberGhost began on 31 October 2026. The chart above shows the switch from the Halloween label to the Early Access deal: the same $2.19 a month, with a longer term and a higher total. It cannot show what CyberGhost charged before 31 October. The 83 percent figure is measured against the monthly plan, not against an earlier long-plan price. So treat the Early Access label as a name for the current offer, not as proof of a price cut. As the daily checks add up, the chart will show whether the price moves after Cyber Monday.
Skip the deal, whatever the price, if you need something CyberGhost does not document:
- obfuscation for networks that block VPNs. Obfuscation hides the fact that you are using a VPN.
- multi-hop, which sends your traffic through two servers instead of one
- port forwarding, which lets other devices connect to yours through the VPN
- an Apple TV app. Apple TV is supported only through a Smart DNS, and CyberGhost says this no longer works with streaming services.
- more than seven devices
- cryptocurrency payment
The CyberGhost review covers each gap. NordVPN vs CyberGhost and Surfshark vs CyberGhost show what the extra money buys elsewhere.

A daily automated check reads every price on this page from CyberGhost’s official buy page. It records the plan, the term, the amount billed up front, the renewal amount the page states, the promotional label and the date. The table and the price history chart above are built from that record. So the “verified” date next to each plan is the last time the official page confirmed the price.
If the label is replaced or the price moves, this page changes with our next daily check. The old reading stays in our price history. We do not publish codes we cannot see on the official page, and we do not test coupons from third-party sites. Affiliate links on this page never affect the prices we show or whether we call a deal good. Our page on how we make money explains the arrangement.
