There is no PIA coupon code to enter. On 5 November 2026, the official Private Internet Access buy page applied its “EARLY ACCESS: 83% Off” price to the 3-year plan automatically. The page carried no coupon code.

The deal is 3 Years + 4 Months Extra at $2.03 a month. You pay $81.20 up front for 40 months. It renews at $81.20 every three years, so the price you pay in 2030 is the price you pay today. New subscribers get 30 days to ask for a refund.

Our daily check reads the table above from the buy page. This page explains the plan and the conditions attached. It also compares the deal with the other sales running this week.

The PIA deal on 5 November 2026

PIA sells one VPN tier in three terms:

  • The long plan costs $2.03 a month under the Early Access label. PIA’s alternate buy page states the first-term total as “$81.20 per three years”. The main buy page says the plan “autorenews at $81.20 every 3 years”.
  • The 1-year plan costs $3.99 a month. It is billed at $47.88 for the first year and renews at $47.88 a year.
  • The monthly plan costs $11.95 and renews at $11.95.

The “83% off” figure compares the long plan’s monthly rate with the $11.95 monthly price. It is not a cut against an earlier price for the same plan.

The offer changed between 2 and 4 November. Under the Halloween label, the same $2.03 a month bought 39 months for $79, renewing at $79. The Early Access deal adds a month, and the renewal rose to $81.20.

Every term includes the same service:

  • 180 locations in 113 countries, including all 50 US states
  • unlimited connections at the same time
  • open-source apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, Android TV, Apple TV and Fire TV. Open source means anyone can read the apps’ code.
  • WireGuard and OpenVPN, two widely used ways to make a VPN connection
  • port forwarding on selected servers, which lets other devices connect to yours through the VPN
  • a kill switch, which blocks your internet if the VPN connection drops
  • MACE ad and tracker blocking
  • 24/7 live chat

A dedicated IP and an antivirus add-on are offered at checkout. A dedicated IP is an IP address that only you use. The buy page shows no prices for either. So budget for those after you see the order summary.

Renewal is the main point of this deal. Most long VPN plans renew at a multiple of the introductory price. PIA’s plan renews at $81.20 for another three years, which keeps the ongoing cost at $2.26 a month. The downside is the commitment. You pay for 40 months in one go, and new subscribers have a 30-day window to change their mind.

PIA’s terms add two conditions:

  • Purchases through app stores, gift cards or third-party deals can only be refunded by the payment processor.
  • A repeat purchase within three months of a refund is not refundable.

You can pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and by Amazon Pay in selected locations. For one-time purchases, PIA also takes gift cards, prepaid Visa and Mastercard, iDEAL and Qiwi. PIA’s help desk no longer lists a cryptocurrency option. So a gift card is the only way to buy without a linked account.

Is it actually a good deal?

Compared with today’s rivals, PIA has the lowest stated renewal rate we verified. It also has the lowest first-term price among plans whose totals the provider’s own page states. These were the long-plan prices on 5 November 2026:

  • PIA: $2.03 a month.
  • CyberGhost: $2.19 a month, or $61.32 for 28 months. It renews at $61.32 a year.
  • Surfshark: $2.49 a month, or $67.23 for 27 months. Its page does not state the renewal price.
  • ExpressVPN: $2.99 a month, or $83.72 for 28 months. It renews at $99.95 a year.
  • NordVPN: $3.49 a month, or $94.23 for 27 months. It renews at $139.08 a year.

Only PrivadoVPN’s $1.11 a month is lower. But that total is worked out from a per-month price, not stated on PrivadoVPN’s page.

Buy once and renew once, and PIA costs $162.40 for 76 months. CyberGhost costs $122.64 for 40 months, ExpressVPN $183.67 for 40 and NordVPN $233.31 for 39. Per month of service, PIA costs $2.03 and then $2.26. That is cheaper than CyberGhost’s $2.19 and then $5.11. It is also less than a third of NordVPN’s $11.59 renewal rate. PIA and CyberGhost are the only two providers in our table whose renewal is not a jump. They share an owner: both belong to Kape Technologies.

Our price tracking for PIA began on 31 October 2026. The chart above shows the switch from the Halloween label to the Early Access deal: the same $2.03 a month, with one more month and a $2.20 higher total. It cannot show whether $2.03 is lower than September’s price for the same plan. The 83 percent is measured against the monthly plan. So treat the Early Access label as the current name for the offer, not as proof of a price cut. The daily checks will show whether the price moves after Cyber Monday.

Skip the deal, whatever the price, if the conditions do not fit you:

  • PIA is a US company inside the Five Eyes, a group of countries that share intelligence. Our privacy scoring penalizes that, even though its no-logs policy survived US court cases in 2016 and 2018 and three Deloitte reviews.
  • It publishes no server count.
  • Its own help desk says its Smart DNS no longer works with streaming services. Smart DNS is a streaming feature for devices that cannot run a VPN app.
  • It documents no post-quantum encryption. That is encryption built to resist future quantum computers.
  • Forty months is a long time to commit to any service after a 30-day trial.

The Private Internet Access review covers each point. NordVPN vs PIA shows what NordVPN’s higher renewal buys.

How we verify these deals

A daily automated check reads every price on this page from PIA’s official buy page. It records the plan, the term, the amount billed up front, the renewal amount the page states, the promotional label and the date. The table and the price history chart above are built from that record. So the “verified” date next to each plan is the last time the official page confirmed the price.

If the label is replaced or the price moves, this page changes with our next daily check. The old reading stays in our price history. We do not publish codes we cannot see on the official page, and we do not test coupons from third-party sites. Affiliate links on this page never affect the prices we show or whether we call a deal good. Our page on how we make money explains the arrangement.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a PIA coupon code?
Not on the official site. On 5 November 2026, the buy page applied its "EARLY ACCESS: 83% Off" price to the 3-year plan automatically, with no coupon code. Any site offering a PIA coupon code is repeating the price already on privateinternetaccess.com, or quoting an old code.
What does PIA's 3-year plan renew at?
It renews at $81.20 every three years, the same amount as the first 40-month term. That keeps the ongoing cost at $2.26 a month. The 1-year plan renews at $47.88 a year and the monthly plan at $11.95. We verified all of these on PIA's buy page on 5 November 2026.
Is PIA's 83 percent discount real?
The figure compares the 3-year plan's $2.03 monthly rate with the $11.95 monthly plan. That is the standard way VPN discounts are advertised. Our price tracking for PIA began on 31 October 2026, so we cannot say what PIA charged before then. Since then the plan has gained a month and its total rose from $79 to $81.20, at the same $2.03 a month.
Does PIA have a Black Friday deal?
Its early Black Friday offer is running now. Between 2 and 4 November, an Early Access Sale replaced the Halloween label. The 3-year plan kept its $2.03 monthly rate and gained a month: 40 months for $81.20. Our daily check records the plan, price and label every day, and the price history keeps every reading.
How does PIA's refund work?
New subscribers get 30 days to ask for a refund. Purchases through app stores, gift cards or third-party deals can only be refunded by the payment processor. A repeat purchase within three months of a refund is not refundable. These are the terms we verified on 5 November 2026.
